Girl of Now has really grown on me. Tested this today and honestly didn’t like it. This was a blind buy and my only disappointing blind buy ever. This is very almondy and in the dry down i get more of the pistachio. Easy to wear, likeable and generally suitable for all occasions. Definitely a fall or winter scent (cold weather), I once sprayed it on a humid warm day and found it too overwhelming and kind of suffocating. 2-Step Treatment. I love this perfume so much. I got the same sweet "honey and tonka bean vibe" from Scandal at first but it is milder here and when I really "think" deeply into the scent, I could detect that "honey vibe" was actually the scent of pear and magnolia combined. I think this is inoffensive and a safe blind buy, but if you don't like almonds I think I would avoid it. Aventus A very solid, sweet, milky nutty addictive fragrance. To me, it opens up like a sweet almond oil scent. I find this to have a harsh, chemical quality while I was expecting a soft realistic almond experience, something like almond paste or marizpan or even almond cookies.
